Scholarship

JGU is committed to assisting students with lesser means but high promise to attend our University. We do not want anyone to be left behind due to monetary constraints.

A student may only receive one scholarship during their time at the University. Scholarships are renewed on a year-to-year basis through a careful review of the University’s scholarship committees. Scholarships may be revoked due to poor academic performance and disciplinary actions.

Means Cum Merit Scholarships

These scholarships are open to all applicants who meet a minimum financial threshold. Each programme has a different financial threshold to be considered for these scholarships. These scholarships consider the following:

  1. Both Parents or Guardians ITRs or Income Tax Documents from Assessment Year 2018 and Assessment Year 2019
  2. XII Board Results
  3. Students Record of Extra-Curricular Achievement

Scholarships will only be determined after 15 July 2019. All applicant applying after 1 July will not be considered for means and merit scholarships.
